At Farmville Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe children and teenagers aren’t just the future of the church—they are an important part of our church family right now.
Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment where young people can build friendships, discover their strengths, learn valuable life skills, and grow in their relationship with God.
Whether your family attends church regularly, is exploring faith for the first time, or is simply looking for positive activities for children and teens, you are welcome here.
Sabbath School
Every Saturday morning, children and teenagers gather in age-appropriate classes where they learn about God through Bible stories, discussions, music, games, and hands-on activities.
Our Sabbath School classes are designed to help young people understand how faith connects to everyday life while building friendships and developing strong values such as kindness, honesty, respect, and compassion. Most importantly, children learn that they are loved by God and valued by their church family.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School is one of the highlights of our year! During VBS, children enjoy an exciting week filled with music, games, crafts, stories, snacks, and interactive activities that teach important life lessons and Bible principles in a fun and engaging way.
VBS is open to all children in our community, whether they attend church regularly or have never been to church before. It’s a place where kids can laugh, learn, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
Adventurers
The Adventurer Club is a family-centered program for children in elementary school.
Think of it as a positive, faith-based club where children can learn, explore, and have fun while developing important life skills. Adventurers participate in activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, service, healthy living, outdoor experiences, and personal growth.
Children might learn about nature, cooking, helping others, safety skills, or how to work together as a team. Throughout the year, they participate in special events, family activities, and community service opportunities.
The Adventurer program helps children build confidence, character, and a strong foundation for the future while creating meaningful experiences with their families.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders is a leadership and life-skills program for older children and teenagers.
Many people compare Pathfinders to organizations such as Scouts because it combines outdoor adventures, camping, community service, leadership development, and practical skill-building. However, Pathfinders also encourages spiritual growth and service to others.
Pathfinders learn a wide variety of skills through hands-on activities. Depending on their interests, they may learn about first aid, cooking, public speaking, nature, community service, technology, crafts, health, leadership, and much more.
Throughout the year, Pathfinders participate in service projects, special events, camping trips, and activities that help them develop responsibility, confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Our goal is to help young people discover their potential, develop strong character, and become compassionate leaders in their homes, schools, churches, and communities.
