At Farmville Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe being a church means more than gathering for worship. It means serving our neighbors, strengthening our community, and helping meet real needs in practical ways.
Throughout the year, our members volunteer alongside local organizations, participate in community service projects, and support initiatives that benefit children, families, seniors, and individuals facing difficult circumstances.
Our outreach efforts include backpack and school supply drives, seasonal food box distributions, family-friendly community events, health and wellness programs, Bible studies, prayer ministries, and volunteer service opportunities. During the holiday season, we help provide Thanksgiving food boxes to local families so they can enjoy a meaningful holiday meal.
We also partner with community organizations to support events and programs that bring people together and create opportunities for encouragement, connection, and hope.
Whether we’re packing backpacks, assembling food boxes, serving at community events, volunteering with local partners, or simply offering a helping hand, we believe small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
Our goal is simple: to love God, love people, and leave our community better than we found it.
