We’re Glad You’re Here
Thinking about visiting a church can bring a lot of questions.
What should I wear? Will I fit in? What will the service be like? Will anyone talk to me?
Those are normal questions, and we want to make your first visit as comfortable as possible.
At Farmville Seventh-day Adventist Church, you’ll find a friendly church family made up of people from different backgrounds, experiences, and stages of life who are seeking to grow closer to Jesus and serve our community.
Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after many years, or looking for a church home, we’d be honored to welcome you as our guest.
When We Gather
Sabbath (Saturday)
Bible Study Groups: 9:15 AM
Worship Service: 11:00 AM
Each week we come together to worship God, study the Bible, encourage one another, and grow in faith.
You’re welcome to attend either or both.

What Can I Expect?
Our worship services are centered on Jesus and grounded in the Bible.
A typical service includes music, prayer, Scripture, and a practical message designed to help people grow in their relationship with God.
Most Sabbaths also include special music, children’s stories, testimonies, or community-focused presentations.
Most services last about an hour and a half.
What Should I Wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable.
Some people dress up. Others come in business casual clothing. A few dress more casually.
You’ll fit in either way.
We’re much more interested in meeting you than noticing what you’re wearing.
What About My Children?
Children are an important part of our church family.
We offer age-appropriate Bible classes and activities designed to help children and young people learn about God’s love in engaging and meaningful ways.
Throughout the year we also host family events, Vacation Bible School, Adventurers, Pathfinders, and other activities for children and youth.
Families are always welcome to worship together.

Will I Be Asked to Do Anything?
No.
You won’t be asked to stand up, introduce yourself publicly, or participate in anything that makes you uncomfortable.
Feel free to participate as much or as little as you’d like while you get to know us.
Will I Be Asked for Money?
No.
Giving is a way church members support the ministry and outreach of our church, but as our guest, you should never feel any obligation to give.
We’re simply glad you’re here.
What Do Seventh-day Adventists Believe?
We are Christians who believe that God loves every person, that Jesus Christ came to save us, and that the Bible reveals God’s plan for our lives.
We believe faith is more than attending church—it’s a growing relationship with Jesus that transforms the way we live, love, and serve others.
If you have questions about our beliefs, we’d love to talk with you.

Stay and Connect
One of the best parts of church is getting to know people.
Many Sabbaths we enjoy a fellowship meal after worship, and guests are always welcome to join us. It’s a relaxed opportunity to meet people, ask questions, and build friendships.
We’d Love to Meet You
No matter your background, your story, or where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.
Our prayer is that every person who walks through our doors experiences God’s grace, finds authentic community, and discovers that faith really can grow here.
